My Brain's Gonna Explode!!!

It seems like lately I've had soooo much going on that it makes it hard to blog.
I can't complain because the majority of the things overloading my brain are pure
wonderful.

1. Doe Eyed Dear is out of control this month! Orders are coming in like crazy and I couldn't be more excited. A little stressed, but excited. Some of you may know, but I was contacted by a couple in the UK who asked if I was interested in selling them some items wholesale for their shop! I almost peed my pants when I read the email! There will be more on that later. I also have a little local project in the works...keep your fingers crossed!

2. ZzZz- Both The Boy and I are lacking in the "quality" sleep department. I'm not gonna say it has to do with a certain little somebody, but it just might be. This leaves me longing for my pillow around 9 pm...can you say Grandma!?

3. Travel- I'm so excited that this weekend we will be getting out of town! We are headed up north for Tim's older brothers wedding. It's going to be so nice just to take a little mini-vacation and be around family. Being able to fly and having a comfy hotel bed don't hurt either.

4. Oh Linus....what can I say? He's been a bit ornery this week. It's so hard to stay mad at him even when you do find him sitting in a hole that he just dug, with dirt caked in his nostrils. I think the Puppy Photo Contest helped me to still adore him after hearing all these lovely people talk about the little guy. I'm trying not to think about leaving him at my Grandparents this weekend because I don't know if I'll be able to let him go :(

5. barf-cough-sneeze-ache- Ugh! Last week we decided it was time to get me off of all this medicine. We're almost certain its either causing, or contributing to all my problems. The only thing is, weaning off each pill is taking its toll on me. Every symptom imaginable all rolled into one= one sad, grumpy, tired Jenna.

6. Tim- He's been so amazing and supportive and awesome throughout this whole thing. I know I can always count on him to be there for me (even if he's constantly telling me to take Fish Oil). I don't know what I'd do without that guy!

Send Something Good

Have you heard of it?

I'm so glad I had the opportunity to participate and meet so many new bloggers.

The lovely hostesses assigned each participant another blogger and we did a "Secret Santa" type deal.
I  had sooo much fun shopping for Melanie and received the most awesome package from Brooke!

Here is what I sent Melanie:

Vintage Scarves/ Handmade Bow for Maddy the dog/Blank Note cards/
Mix and Match Bangles/ Ring/ Cute hand drawn print

When it came to my package from Brooke, I was so excited that I tore right into it forgetting to take pictures of the package. I was soooo stoked to see that it was from Canada!

Each item was wrapped in glitter tissue paper which made it even more fun to unwrap each item.

She did such a great job getting to know me and I loved EVERYTHING!

Thanks Brooke!!

Can't wait till the next "Send Something Good"!

Airstream Dream

On the way home from church we pass an r.v. dealership and along the freeway they have the cutest caravan of airstream trailers. I never thought I would want one because they're so small, but after seeing these I'm convinced it's a necessity.

I had no idea the inside could be this spacious..Not to mention luxurious!

We got a pool!!!!

The weather is heating up and I've been dreaming about luxurious pools to lounge in.
I found some really amazing ones:

After drooling over these awesome pools I went to Wal-mart and bought a pool for Linus!

He was a little unsure at first...okay, a lot unsure.

I lured him in with a ball

Next thing I know, He's hopping in and out all by himself!

Now every time I let him out to go potty he hops right in and splashes around. Even during his early morning potty time when Mom is only half awake.
He's our little water baby:)

Downstairs Bathroom Renovation

The other day I woke up with the desire to do a home improvement project so
I chose the smallest room in the house, asked The Boy's permission then bought the paint and got to work.

The Downstairs bathroom was soooo boring and this is the bathroom that all of our guests use.
I knew I had to spice it up and in a cheap way.

Before:

If my main purchase was going to be paint, I knew I had to try something exciting.
So, I got my painters tape and was set on STRIPES!

Let me tell you, this isn't as easy as it looks. I tried for about an hour to get the tape straight and evenly spaced and it was almost impossible to do alone. Luckily The Boy was home and could help me knock this out....in about 2 hours (See, not too easy).

But in the end it was all worth it. I'm not gonna lie, I'm pretty proud of us.
I was ecstatic as I pulled the tape off revealing our handy work.

After:

I went to Target and got the soap dispenser and towels to add a pop of color

I found this awesome shadow box at Marshalls and used the key that I've had forever and I cut
the flowers out of a calendar. I love it!

This is the sweet little ring dish I found at Anthropologie a couple months ago.
I think it looks just like my little Linus so I HAD to get it

I'm still in tweeking mode so I may add some things here and there, but I couldn't be happier
with it. It all started with a quart of paint.

EXPENSES:

1 quart of Valspar paint in Whitewashed Oak: $11.00
Soap Dispenser and Towels: $12.00
Shadow Box: $19.00 (my splurge)

Total cost of renovation: $42.00

Woo Hoo!!!
