Pumpkin Patch 2018

Norah has been asking to go to the Pumpkin Patch since August so we decided to surprise her with a trip to Bates Nut Farm. 

Once she saw the pony rides and petting zoo that's all she cared about. I told her we had to choose our pumpkins first so she ran to the perimeter of the patch grabbed the first one she got to and said she was ready to go! Not without some photos, lady!

We each picked our own perfect pumpkin! Even the baby got a teeny one.

I didn't notice till we got home, but in all of these photos Norah has her hand on her stomach too! I can't get over how excited this girl is to be a sister.

We waited in this pony ride line for over an hour and once we got to the front she told me she was scared and didn't want to do it. A couple pep talks later she got on the horse and loved it.

When she got off she ran over to me and said, "Mom! I was a brave girl!"

Halloween 2016

So I decided pretty early on that Norah would be a "Golden Girl" and that I'm going to choose these funny costumes until she has an opinion of her own and wants to be something boring like a princess.

I made the wig by gluing cotton balls to a beanie and the glasses were from the doll making section at Hobby Lobby. She already had the outfit so the whole costume cost about $5!

But, Norah and Linus' favorite part of the weekend was meeting and hanging out with Aunt Leah and Uncle Jeff! She was sooooo comfortable with them like she's known them her whole life!

       

Babies First Pumpkin

Last weekend we took a little family trip up to Oak Glen for some pumpkin picking and apple cider donuts!

Norah was more interested in the dirt than anything else, but she ended up with a tiny little pumpkin that she held all the way home.

Hard to believe that last year when we were there, she was in my belly!

This year we had a small get together with our life group. I didn't even think to take pictures but we happen to have some amazing photographer friends that never disappoint ;)
