Spring Garden Party

Today Norah hosted a little Garden Party for her friends from MyGym to welcome Spring! 

Let me just start off by saying that this little hostess was on another level and that's even before all the sugar she consumed.

The 99 cent store was killing it this month and I found all of these cute, floral papergoods.

Having never hosted a party for toddlers, I planned a gardening activity for them to plant some seeds and decorate pots. They enjoyed filling the pots, and dumping the pots (especially Norah who later came out with a makeup bag to fill with soil).

Note to self: All kids need are bubbles!

We had a picnic lunch of flower shaped sandwiches and snacks inside on our "Grass"

Then some quick photos of the girls, said no toddler parent ever.

 Norah had so much fun playing with her friends and giving the sweetest pint sized goodbye hugs

Little Piece of Fall

We recently made a day trip up to Oak Glen seeking a glimpse of Fall and escaping the scorching                                                        temperatures here in Orange County.

We were on a mission to pick apples and pumpkins and eat awesome apple treats!

Oak Glen is such a cute little town in the San Bernardino Mountains. It' s a road lined with apple orchards and cute little shops and restaurants.

I was so excited to pick apples for the first time! It proved to be a bit of a challenge because the place was packed and we were lucky to find the four apples we did! Most were on the ground or had weird holes in them. Still glad I got to experience it though.

After an apple hunt and making our way through the corn maze we settled in for a cute BBQ picnic

 Next stop was the pumpkin patch where we found the cutest little pumpkins as well as the largest pumpkins I've ever seen. 

By this time I was ready to sit down again so we made our way up the road to our next stop.

 We got in line for some famous Apple Cider Donuts and it was well worth the wait!

So glad we got to experience a little bit of fall to kick off October!

Gender Reveal

I'm sure you've heard by now but.. IT'S A GIRL!

I've always wanted a girl but this whole time I just knew it was a boy so I was pleasantly shocked when the ultrasound tech told us He was a She! 

She's looking healthy and was dancing around like crazy. We were told that she is very petite and probably won't stand a chance in the WNBA.

Originally I hadn't planned on doing a gender reveal but since most people thought it was a boy as well, the idea of surprising everyone made it so much fun.

We told my family with a massive confetti balloon. 

Linus was only a little terrified 

Then we met up with Tim's parents at Disneyland and got to tell them over a birthday dinner for my father in law! It was perfect timing and exciting to tell him he was getting a Granddaughter for his birthday.

For our Life Group we met up at the cutest old fashioned ice cream parlor where everyone got a mystery packet of sprinkles

I'm so excited to be a girl mom! 

Beach Bonfire

Last night we celebrated our 4th Annual Beach Bonfire! I can't believe these wonderful people have been in our lives for four years. We've made some wonderful lifelong friends.
