I've been slacking when it comes to the Disneyland pictures...but here they are.

This next one needs a little explanation...Right as we got on Small World Devon decided to take a picture of me...To get the perfect shot she leaned out of the boat and we heard a lady over the speaker say, "Watch your head!" I looked up just in time to see Devon almost smack her head on a pole as the boat took off. And of course she snapped the picture right as I snapped into sister mode and tried to save her life.

(Hideous...but funny)

Post almost getting her head knocked off

I'm not sure which ride this is, but don't we look good?

After a long day of Park hopping

Sorry there weren't more pictures...I didn't put my memory card in the camera and it couldn't hold very many .

Here are some pictures of my day with the Grandparents

Ellen

I don't care what anyone says, I love Ellen.
I especially love this episode with Leslie Mann.
My favorite part is when her daughter receives a phone call from Zac Efron
and the youngest daughter is so excited she gets violent.

P.S.

My Birthday is in 2 days.

I chose this picture b/c Devon looks so stinkin' cute.

I've been looking through that box of pictures again and I came across some that I find quite disturbing so I thought I'd share them so maybe I could get some answers from my family.

Exhibit #1
"The Haircut"

(Note: With my new photo editing skills I was able to blur
the rest of the picture to really get my point across)

Is it just me or do I look drugged? Did you drug me in order to cut my hair, Grandma?

..Or maybe I was thinking, "How could you give me a boy haircut!?"

Exhibit #2
"The Garden Hose"

Okay guys, I get it. Its pretty funny to turn the hose on when its in the baby's face.

BUT..

Doing it a few years later, well, that's just a little mean.

Dear Dad,

I'm sorry I can't afford some fancy gift (or any gift at all) for Fathers Day. Instead I decided to make a list of why you're such a great Dad.
  • You have supported me and Dev in everything that we do.
  • You work hard to support your family.
  • You can build/create anything.
  • You're smart and know at least a little bit about EVERYTHING!
  • You build one hell of a mission project :)
  • When we played hockey, you were my biggest fan. And I was yours.
  • You always make a point of telling me I'm welcome to come back home anytime.
  • You used to watch Blossom with me after Monday night football.
  • You make us feel safe.
  • You love us unconditionally.
  • I know I can count on you no matter what.
  • You would do anything for us.
And this is just the short list! Thank you for being you Dad.
Love,
Jenna

The Snake

The snake played an important role in my weekend seeing as it was a reoccurring character.

Thursday night Dad called me out to the pool to show me that we had a snake. We have a lot of strange animals in Hemet, but a SNAKE!? Come on!
I decided to try and forget about it and go about my business.
THEN...
Friday night when we were all meeting up at the house to go to graduation, I followed Craig into the house and I glanced down at his shoes and there, climbing down his leg and into the entry way was the SNAKE!
Apparently while walking the short distance from his truck to the front door it decided to hitch a ride on his leg. I was in shock and all I could say was "CRAIG! A SNAKE!" Luckily he kept his cool and kicked it out the door.
Saturday was snake-free so I thought it had moved on or had become a snack for the dogs, but sure enough, it appeared Sunday to scare the crap out of my mom as she got out of her car.
What an exciting weekend!
Align Center
These last 5 days have been pretty busy with the party prep and Graduation and whatnot.

Thursday: Went to Hemet and got to see Heather and Gibson. Hes soooo big and talkative and CRAZY, but sooo much fun.

Friday: We prepared for the party and went to Devons Graduation, wearing the cute shirts that Craig made for the whole family :) Stayed up till 2 preparing for everything and ended up going to Grandma and Grandpas to sleep because of allergies.

Saturday: Devons party. It went realllly well..as did the video.

Sunday: Got sick and drove home..

Today, I've been soooo sick, luckily Blake brought me some medicine so I could at least function. Thanks Blake!

I didnt take any pictures but hopefully I'll get some from other people to put up.

Friday is Dev's graduation and Saturday is her party so thats exciting..Except I'm kind of dreading going bc I feel so fat and gross...There's going to be quite a few people there that I havent seen for awhile and its a shame I can't look like my sister :(

If you walk away, I’ll walk away
First tell me which road you will take
I don’t want to risk our paths crossing some day
So you walk that way, I’ll walk this way

And the future hangs over our heads
And it moves with each current event
Until it falls all around like a cold steady rain
Just stay in when it’s looking this way

And the moon’s laying low in the sky
Forcing everything metal to shine
And the sidewalk holds diamonds like the jewelry store case
They argue walk this way, no, walk this way

And Laura’s asleep in my bed
As I’m leaving she wakes up and says
“I dreamed you were carried away on the crest of a wave
Baby don’t go away, come here”

And there’s kids playing guns in the street
And ones pointing his tree branch at me
So I put my hands up I say “enough is enough,
If you walk away, I’ll walk away”
And he shot me dead

I found a liquid cure
From my landlocked blues
It’ll pass away like a slow parade
It’s leaving but I don’t know how soon

And the world’s got me dizzy again
You think after 22 years I’d be used to the spin
And it only feels worse when I stay in one place
So I’m always pacing around or walking away
I keep drinking the ink from my pen
And I’m balancing history books up on my head
But it all boils down to one quotable phrase
If you love something, give it away

A good woman will pick you apart
A box full of suggestions for your possible heart
But you may be offended and you may be afraid
But don’t walk away, don’t walk away

We made love on the living room floor
With the noise in the background of a televised war
And in the deafening pleasure I thought I heard someone say
“If we walk away, they’ll walk away”

But greed is a bottomless pit
And our freedom’s a joke
We’re just taking a piss
And the whole world must watch the sad comic display
If you’re still free start running away
Cause we’re coming for you!

I’ve grown tired of holding this pose
I feel more like a stranger each time I come home
So I’m making a deal with the devils of fame
Saying “let me walk away, please”
You’ll be free child once you have died
From the shackles of language and measurable time
And then we can trade places, play musical graves
Till then walk away, walk away

So I’m up at dawn
Putting on my shoes
I just want to make a clean escape
I know I’m leaving but I don’t know where to

Changes...

Yesterday when I got home I was rather emotional and decided now was the time for some change. Normally something this different wouldve had me in tears, but I had bigger things to cry over....Out with the old, In with the new, One step at a time...
