Our Sunday Night Buddy

Last Sunday night Tim and I were returning to his apartment

after a trip to Subway. As we were walking towards the gate we noticed a possum

sitting on the wall guarding it.

First of all I must state that possums are the ugliest thing I've ever seen

and their tails make me want to vomit.

It was sooooo hideous and it just sat there.

Soooo, we stood about 20 feet away just hoping he would mosey on but he didn't.

For about 10 minutes we stood there and shook the fence hoping he would jump off, but he didn't.

Hoping that someone else would not notice him and walk by and scare him, but they didn't.

I even contemplated chucking my "Five Dollar Foot Long" at him!

So Tim, being the manly man he is, decided to quickly walk by him and unlock the gate so

I could sprint by. As I ran by all I could think of was the Chevy Chase squirrel incident in Christmas Vacation.

Tonight we return after dinner and as we are walking up to the gate Tim whips out his phone to

use his Antoine Dodson App. You know, the Internet rap sensation.

Right as Antoine says, "You Are Really Dumb!" the possum jumps up on the wall about 2 feet from our faces!

Tim didn't notice until I said something and he quickly fumbled with his keys trying

to get in the gate while the furry jerk just stared us down.

It's official, hes stalking us.
