This weekend Tim and I went to Hemet for my Dads birthday. I also got the family to help me with my Kiosk project :)

I'm almost done with the Trend Report project thats due tomorrow
and I'm pretty anxious to start my Retail Buying project thats
due Monday. I just hope I can pull it off.

-We carved pumpkins (It was his first time!) I tried to make mine look
like Hello Kitty and failed...boo. But his was cute :)
-Had a laundromat adventure for one load

Just Because..

I'm so Lucky

I earned 100 nerd points last night!

I went with Blake to a Circuit Bending "Show" at CSULB last night.

I was a little apprehensive but to my surprise I found it quite interesting which makes me a little bit of a nerd.


(Apparently this is the face I make in pictures..pshh.)

Circuit bending is the creative short-circuiting of electronic devices such as low voltage, battery-powered guitar effects, children's toys and small digital synthesizers to create new musical or visual instruments and sound generators. Emphasizing spontaneity and randomness, the techniques of circuit bending have been commonly associated with noise music, though many more conventional contemporary musicians and musical groups have been known to experiment with "bent" instruments. Circuit bending usually involves dismantling the machine and adding components such as switches and potentiometers that alter the circuit.



These people demonstrated circuit bending on an over head projector
and it was projected on the wall.


The result: Some reallly crazy sounds...

Today the majority of the people I helped made some sort of comment about my eyes. So I decided to go check them out in the bathroom on my break to
see what all the hype was about.
They haven't been this blue in I don't know how long.


I wish they'd stay this way!

Tonight I broke out the denim jacket.
I bought it 2 years ago and wore it about 2 times then Blake made fun of me..
Well guess what Blake...It's back!!

Last Night..

I got pulled over for having tinted windows.
Really? Give me a break!

This morning I woke up with hives.
Really? C'mon!

Now I'm going back to work for the first time in 10 days.
Pray for me.

Today as I was walking out of the bank on 2nd street I was approached by some people
who were shooting a "Trendsetters" fashion spread in a local Fashion zine.
They asked if they could use my picture and an interview..
That was an exciting trip to the bank
:)

D.I.Y

Lets face it, I'm broke.
So when I want a new article of clothing or an accessory, I've just gotta snap into D.I.Y mode.

Cowboy boots are out and ankle boots are in..
So a little snip snip with the kitchen scissors and VOILA!

Update..

Soooo..I've been pretty sick.. It all started out with me being nauseous every time I eat for the past 2 months or so. Then Friday night I started feeling flu like symptoms accompanied by a stiff neck. The first thing I thought of was meningitis so that worried me a little bit.
I decided to finally go to Urgent care Monday and this is how the night played out.
-Wait 2 hours in a packed room of disgusting sick people
-See the doctor and have a temperature of 101.
-Doctor presses on my stomach and I have sharp pains
-She tells me I'm going to have to get my appendix out
-I freak out and crying ensues
-Go downstairs to get blood drawn for the first time. Crying ensues.
-Tim shows up, I stop crying.
-Wait for results
-My fever has gone up to 104
-They send me home saying I have "Some sort of Virus"
