I'm almost done with the Trend Report project thats due tomorrow and I'm pretty anxious to start my Retail Buying project thats due Monday. I just hope I can pull it off.
-Went to church with Tim -We carved pumpkins (It was his first time!) I tried to make mine look like Hello Kitty and failed...boo. But his was cute :) -Had a laundromat adventure for one load -Did some homework
I went with Blake to a Circuit Bending "Show" at CSULB last night.
I was a little apprehensive but to my surprise I found it quite interesting which makes me a little bit of a nerd.
(Apparently this is the face I make in pictures..pshh.)
Circuit bending is the creative short-circuiting of electronic devices such as low voltage, battery-powered guitar effects, children's toys and small digital synthesizers to create new musical or visual instruments and sound generators. Emphasizing spontaneity and randomness, the techniques of circuit bending have been commonly associated with noise music, though many more conventional contemporary musicians and musical groups have been known to experiment with "bent" instruments. Circuit bending usually involves dismantling the machine and adding components such as switches and potentiometers that alter the circuit.
These people demonstrated circuit bending on an over head projector and it was projected on the wall.
The result: Some reallly crazy sounds...

Today the majority of the people I helped made some sort of comment about my eyes. So I decided to go check them out in the bathroom on my break to see what all the hype was about. They haven't been this blue in I don't know how long.
