Snapping this picture of Linus searching for his soul mate got me thinking about how many people nowadays meet online. I know several couples who have and are now happily married including me and my husband.

Does it still have the negative connotation that it used to?

I know we often struggle with telling people how we met, not because it was online but because it was on Myspace.

Anyone out there meet their significant other on a non-dating website?

My Latest Obsession

The Illume Boulangerie Jar candles from Anthropologie.

For Christmas we bought my sister-in-law the Whipped Cream & Pear and it is the best smelling candle EVER!

I even went and bought myself one. They're kind of small for $16.00 but well worth it!

Now I just need Anthropologie to read this and send me a bunch of free stuff...hint hint...

Beach Party.

Our little guy had an awesome First Birthday.

We started the day off with a birthday pupcake that I baked him.

Here's a really good recipe for the Peanut Butter Delight cake.

I'll spare you the video of me singing "Happy Birthday" to him but after the candle was gone he picked up the whole cupcake and tried to walk away.

Next we headed to Ocean Beach in San Diego for his very first trip to the Dog Beach.

It was insane! I've never seen so many dogs running free. I was so nervous at first but he did great!

Whenever he would get too far from us he would turn around and start looking for us just like little kids do at the beach. Having his cousin JD there helped. He pretty much tagged along with him because he's a beach dog.
