Valentines Day

Happy Valentines Day to my favorite guy.

Even though he's over 9,000 miles away he still made sure today would be special for me.

I'm one lucky girl!

Dec/Jan Photo Dump.

It's been awhile since I cleared out my phone!
Here are a few of my favorites from the last couple of months.

Linus enjoyed the Christmas decorations

Saw the most perfect rainbow EVER

Had lots of quality time with my shadow
Had a lot of fun times with friends

Slept in everyday and had morning cuddle time

I got my wholesale license! That means a trip to Shinoda Design Center!!!

We finally stopped off the freeway to check out the Airstreams we've been eyeing for the last couple of years!

Tim is hooked!

We said goodbye to our dear old pig

Took a trip to visit my cousin at his new brewery

Announced the first collection of 2014 for Jenna Leslye Designs

Saw this awesome little guy dedicated to the church!

It's been a crazy two weeks and I've loved having my guy on vacation. Today was his first day back to work and the house just feels a little somber. Back to reality!

Dating

For Valentines Day I made a "Date Box" full of ideas for dates, places to go for dinner, and fun adventures. We haven't had the opportunity to choose from the box till today and we ended up going to dinner and the casino!

Tim brought me the prettiest flowers ever!

Then I actually spent a little time getting ready...I'm embarrassed to admit it, but lately I've been pretty consumed with a home improvement project and spend my days in paint stained clothes.

Linus laid on the bed watching us get ready trying to make us feel bad.

We went to dinner in a too dark restaurant where I had the best salad of my life then went to the casino where we didn't win a darn thing!

To top off the night we came home to no poop! That's always a plus!!

Edit: Tim wanted me to clarify that I'm talking about Linus Poop...not human poop.

Celebrate.

Easter Sunday was spent fitting as much family time in as we could before Tim left (today).
We slept in and I came out of the restroom to find a basket that Tim made just for me! Luckily I scrambled to make one for him the day before!  As you can see, the one I made was simple and understated saying, "I had like one day and one store and all the Easter stuff was gone"...his says, "BUY ALL THE CANDY!!!!" He's pretty amazing.

But wait, he didn't stop there! He told me and Linus to wait upstairs because he had another surprise. He then told us to go out back where he had set up a whole egg hunt for Linus! It was the cutest thing ever! You better believe Linus touched every egg with his nose and waited patiently for Tim to open it and feed him the treat. He loved it!

The rest of the day was spent running last minute errands, finishing up packing and laundry and I treasured every last second with my love!

A Letter to my Husband...

Dear Tim,

I just wanted to tell you that I love you. You never cease to amaze me with your amazing husband skills. If it weren't for you, I'd probably crumble into a pile of nerves and self-pity but you keep me grounded and positive (really...you do). I love you most when you pray over us as a family. I fall asleep easier knowing that I will get to wake up next to you and you will tell me that I'm beautiful even with crusty eyes and crazy hair. You're the best dad to Linus and I know that he adores you, mostly because when I wake up in the middle of the night he usually has his butt in your face. Oh yeah, you're really cute too.

Love,
Me.

P.S. You're right, we can get through anything together.
