Four Month Update

Norah Lane is four months old! Time is flying by so fast and these monthly photos are getting harder and harder trying to wrangle this crazy little baby.

Yesterday she had her 4 month check up and shots :(

She is 15lbs and 25 in. & in the 75th percentile for both weight and height.

This month she discovered her voice and is quite the Chatty Cathy. Although it's more like screaming, it's pretty cute.

I also got her first laughs on video!

She's a rolling machine and will scoot herself pretty much anywhere she wants to go even though she mainly uses her face to get places.

We've discovered that "Wheels on the Bus" is her favorite song and it will stop her from screaming most of the time. I'm getting pretty tired of singing it nonstop and running out of things on the bus. Let's just say some pretty random people are doing some pretty silly things on the bus by the 10th  verse.

She loves watching Linus play and will light up whenever he enters the room. I can't wait for them to become the best of friends.

Beautiful and Bright

On this day last year I had a hunch and took about 20 pregnancy tests and with 1 word I was filled with a million emotions.

We waited sooo long and had 2 heartbreaking experiences but as I sit here and look at my babbling little Norah Lane, those 4 years were so worth it. I'm so glad we didn't give up and I hope that our experience might give hope to a couple who is going through the same thing. Yes it can be painful and stressful and it will definitely test your marriage , but never lose faith because He has something wonderful for you.

In our case it was our little rainbow baby

A “rainbow baby” is a baby that is born following a miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death or infant loss.In the real world, a beautiful and bright rainbow follows a storm and gives hope of things getting better. The rainbow is more appreciated having just experienced the storm in comparison.

Norahs First Disney Day

Yesterday we had the chance to meet up with my sister in law and nephews at Disneyland for Norah's first time!

She woke up on the tram and had no idea what was in store...

She met her cousins Chase and Elliot for the first time and they brought her a little Minnie and a special outfit.

Her first ride was Small World and she just sat there and tried to take it all in

We changed the kids into their matching outfits so they could meet Mickey!

On Jungle Cruise the guide announced that in case of an emergency , Norah could be used as the flotation device

Tim and I were so excited to get her first ears!!
They're so little!

On our way out of the park we ran into Snow White and Norah couldn't stop smiling at her.
She commented on how they both had bows and that Ariel would love her seashell romper :)

I don't think she wanted to leave

I'd say that her first Disney experience was an awesome one!
